Last year I promised that I would be sure to alert you to the Mercury fashion show before the fact and not after. So! Consider yourself alerted. Tomorrow evening at the Bossanova Ballroom come check out a pretty sweet line up of Portland (and some not Portland) designers. Of course we're going to have our beloved Project Runway heros Gretchen Jones, Leanne Marshall and Seth Aaron, as well as looks from Dawn Sharp, Isaac Hers, Sarah Bergman, Ms. Wood, Heather Treadway, RUKI, Boet and more. We've Struck Gold

It's taken a second to re-adjust after a wonderfully long week and weekend of shows, shoots and a wedding. But here I am, absolutely relishing in this bright spring light, and getting excited about all the wonderful stuff we have coming up!

Here's what you need to know: Isaac Hers will be debuting the collection "Goldstruck" at the Portland Design Collective on Saturday May 21st at 8 pm (doors at 7). Get your tickets here. The girls at Jillian Rabe Production Haus have been busy at work producing this show, which coincides with the opening of the flagship store early this month at in Portland's West End at 415 SW 13th. In this collection, designer Barbara Seipp was inspired by Oregon's beautiful, hot high desert.
